Dangjin-Gwangmyeong undersea tunnel  6.945 km long. Together with expressway 61.14 km. Total project cost 3 trillion won. It can build in 7 years and 6 months. It can start July 2025 and finish December 2032.

In August 2021 Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. proposed construction 3 trillion won. In December 2021 Dangjin-Gwangmyeong route was selected. 

Daejanilbo write Korea Development Institute (KDI) this year conduct a private-sector eligibility test, and next year, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance decide on private investment projects. The project proponents will be selected and services will begin, and highway construction promoted in 2024.
