This Friday, February 4, the contracting process for civil works will be opened by the Medellin Metro. The main contract for the Metro de la 80 will have an execution time of 78 months and a budget of 1.2 billion pesos plus 119 million euros.

For project Colombian government will pay for the 70% of the costs ($ 2.47 billion) and the Municipality will pay the 30% ($ 1,062 billion) in Colombian pesos.  13.25 kilometer Metro de la 80 will have 17 stations.
