Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

    Report to manager/immediate supervisor, plan tunneling activities, develop method statement, safe work procedure and risk assessment and execute them on site
    Record down daily activities and assist QS in progress claim
    Daily problem solving
    Conduct daily site inspection and supervision of ground improvement, ERSS, deep excavation and bored tunnelling works
    Supervision work on a TBM machine controlling the tunnel labour in excavation and ring build
    Plan and monitor and track site progress, manpower mobilization and equipment deployment
    Ensure job safety analysis and site safety compliance
    Liaise with authorities, consultants and subcontractors
    Any other ad hoc duties assigned
    Able to determine TBM excavation parameter for excavation (face pressure, cutter torque, thrust force of shield jack, etc.)
    Able to determine ring selection to fit with tunnel design alignment
    Ensuring all works to be carried out according to quality plan, safety procedure and schedule
    Manpower organisation arrangement/supervision for TBM/CP excavation work and conduct daily tool box meeting

Job Requirements

    Degree in Civil Engineering
    Able to work shift work, 6 day work week
    Compressed air fit
    Excel in microsoft office and excel
    Understand basic concept of EPB and slurry TBM machine operation
    Able to carry out ring selection
    Basic understanding of M&E items
    Preferably 2 years or more experience in LTA project
