Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya metro line in Moscow: Tunnels are being laid between the future Karamyshevskaya and Zvenigorodskaya stations

The route will run to the north-west of the city from the Shelepikha station of the Big Circle Line (BCL) to Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye. According to Andrei Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Policy and Construction, right and left tunnels each will stretch for a total of more than 1.7 kilometers.

The length of the first section of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya metro line is over 12.6 kilometers with 6 stationsTwo tunnel boring machines bore at a depth of 12 to 35 meters in water-saturated fine and medium-sized sands, loams and clays according to Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt.
