Role accountabilities: 

• Delivering technically complete design information, reports, and checks
• Producing design documentation, summaries and technical reports for clients
• Presenting design options and design decisions
• Developing structural or geotechnical models on major civil and structural projects.
• Reviewing components of the project including drawings, reports, specifications and studies and ensuring compliance with standards and best practice.
• Promoting awareness of technical and commercial risk assessments and mitigation and best value design options
• Providing leadership and technical advice to project team junior team members

Qualifications & Experience: 

First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life through your contribution to city shaping projects. You are a tertiary qualified engineer with experience on complex civil infrastructure projects and will come to us with:

• Structural and/or geotechnical design experience on civil structures or underground structures projects
• Familiarity across multiple aspects of the design lifecycle from concept to IFC
• Well-rounded communication skills and the ability to modify your approach to achieve positive outcomes within design teams or with various stakeholder groups including clients and contractors
• A collaborative approach and proven ability to work within multi-disciplinary design teams
• An approachable personality and the ability to proactively participate in project teams
• Chartered Status (or the desire to work towards) will be highly regarded.
