The CREG Tunnel Boring Machine to be used for boring the heating tunnel under the Elbe river has arrived from China. The 4,5 meter diameter TBM has arrived at the Hamburg port in 47 pre-assembled parts reports the broadcaster NDR.

With this TBM, the Chinese manufacturer CREG for the first times exports a TBM to Germany.
