'After 36 months of painstaking work and overcoming obstacles caused by very complicated geological conditions, the left pipe of the Laz tunnel was finally broken through': reports.

Laz Tunnel is one of two important tunnels under Mount Jelica. Tunnels are part of road Chinese company is building between Preljina and Požega. When the Munjino brdo and Laz tunnels are completed, they will be the longest tunnels in Serbia. The length of Munjino brdo is 2800 metres and the length of Laz tunnel is 2900 metre.

When the road is completed, travel from Čačak to Belgrade will be significantly shorter and it will attract investments.
