Korea Business Post has interesting news on Namhae Undersea Tunnel competition.

For Namhae Undersea Tunnel, coming up technical bidding for building roads (total 1230m), 5930m undersea tunnels land bridges 2 tunnels of 150mbetween Seosang -ri, Seosang -ri, Yeosu -si. Construction hope to start in 2024 and finish in 2032.

A big competition expected between DL E&C, POSCO E&C, and Lotte E&C

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport began construction in 2024 and aims to open in 2032.

DL E&C leading with 55% consortium with Taeyoung E&C (25%), Shinheung and S&C Industry.  Lotte E&C leading with 41% consortium with Kolon Global (12%) and HJ Heavy Industries (10%). POSCO E&C leading 43% consortium with Doosan E&C (20%), Geumgwang Enterprises (20%) and Hwaseong Industry (7%).
