Australia: Melbourne Metro Tunnel connected to Sunbury Line
There is now 97km of continuous track from Melbourne’s north-west to south-east, via the new twin 9km rail tunnels under the city.
The work also marks the completion of the $1.8 billion Sunbury Line Upgrade 6 months ahead of schedule.
