Turkish Transport minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu earlier on Tuesday fired up tunnel boring machines for the tunnels required along the 8.4-kilometre section of proposed rail between Istanbul’s Halkalı neighborhood, an important hub for passenger trains and rail freight, and Ispartakule.
