The site team continued work on the west river wall tie-in detail. This work involves pile cropping and fixing steel reinforcement as part of capping beam works for the new river wall. This task ensures the new piles will connect securely to the capping beam.

We continued installing reinforcement bars on the precast cover slab beams, installing shutters and poured the second and third beams. These beams will form part of the shaft and other below ground chambers.

We carried out the culvert wall pour as we continue construction of the Air Treatment Unit (ATU) and
movement of aggregate and logistics for secondary lining works.
Secondary lining of the tunnel underground to increase its longevity is almost complete on the tunnel from Greenwich. The team continue with removing secondary lining equipment from within the tunnel and shaft.

We apologise for the any noise and disruption whilst we undertake this essential activity.
