On May 10, Tunnel Boring Machine Yujiang passes under Yangtze River in Yuzhong District, Chongqing for first railway tunnel on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.

Yujiang is dual -mold TBM. A earth pressure balance (EPB) TBM and mud water balance TBM. 

TBM Yujiang is equipped with advanced geological forecasting equipment. It can conduct real -time analysis and prediction of the geology of 50 meters in front according to the shock signal generated by the blade roller.
