Tribuna writes of the 1,3km long Daniela and Alina tunnels on Sibiu - Pitești A1 highway, first 2 km has been tunneled. Daniela tunnel is in Sibiu-Pitesti direction and Alina tunnel is in reverse direction.  Total length of both tunnels will reach 2692 meters when they are finished. Of this 2 km tunneled, 1088 meter has been tunneled on Daniela tunnel and 928 meters on Alina tunnel.

The tunnels going through Momaia mountain have been commissioned by CNAIR (Romania's National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration and constructed by Austrian company PORR's Romania branch PORR Romania. The tunnel lies in section 4 (TigveniCurtea de Arge) of the SibiuPiteti motorway project.
