CPB, Ghella and UGL (CGU) have terminated their contract with the Transport for NSW. Reportedly for tunnelling conditions which could not be foreseen.
Right after he emergence of the sinkholes, Sydney Morning Herald has written that the contractor CPB had opted for a cheaper and riskier tunnelling strategy.
