Apperantly they have unsurfaced some antique age TBM machinery and TBM operators in Amsterdam. Here paraded on King's day (Koningsdag) celebrations, they are roumored to have been discovered during the boring of Amsterdam's Noord-Zuid (North - South) metro tunnels.

BTW, the boring of Noord-Zuid metro lijn has lasted more than 10 years (I believe with Herrenknecht TBMs) and it is general impression in the public that these antique TBMs would perform better!
