La Nacion says the Buenos Aires Subway Company (Sbase) postponed the opening of envelopes in the tender for engineering studies of Line F, scheduled for mid-January. This was done to ensure that "there is a good amount of bidders".

Line F, the new Buenos Aires subway line will have 13 stations. Expected cost is 2 Billion dollars which will be financed by international creditors. Cnstruction will start in 2021 and expected to finish in 2027.

This subway line will be the first subway tunnel to be bored by a tunnel boring machine. TBM technique has been used in Argentina before, but only for the water projects.
