India announces an Int'l tender for a sub-sea 21 km long twin-bore rail tunnel (TBM & NATM)

 

India’s National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) announces an international tender for the construction of the county’s first undersea rail tunnel.

It will be 21km long twin-tunnel. It will be constructed using a combination of TBM and NATM between Mumbai Underground Station and Bandra-Kurla Complex Station.
