  25/11/2021 08:00:00 26/11/2021 18:00:00 10th International Conference on Bridge and Tunnel Technology - Shanghai CHINA Notice on Holding the 10th International Bridge and Tunnel Technology Conference   & "Belt and Road Initiative" Transport Infrastructure Forum   The year 2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the opening charter of the 14th Five-Year Plan.  The 14th Five-Year Plan emphasizes the central role of innovation in the modernization drive and self-reliance and self-strengthening in science and technology. Scientific and technological development must target the global sci-tech frontiers, serve the main economic battlefields, strive to fulfill the significant needs of the country and benefit people's lives and health. China shall implement the strategy of invigorating the country through the development of science and education, talents, and innovation, and improve national innovation system to build strength in technology and transport.   To fully implement the plan by the CPC and the State Council, the 10th International Bridge and Tunnel Technology Conference & "Belt and Road Initiative" Transport Infrastructure Forum sponsored by Chinese Academy of Engineering will be held in Shanghai from December.   The conference contains quality academic reporting, Strategic frontiers and topics discussion, excellent report collecting, tech innovation exhibition and major engineering tours, which make a thorough summary on the major achievement and experience of bridges, tunnels and other basic infrastructure in domestic transport, hydraulic engineering, municipal engineering, and national defense construction, and present the progress of the Belt and Road Initiative since the 12th and 13th Five Year Plan.
