Breakthrough for TBM Tansa 1 at Mumbai Metro Line-3 at Worli
After boring 2072 meters and laying 1381 rings, the Ø6.65m refurbished Robbins NFM slurry tunnel boring machine 1238 ("Tansa 1") operated by Doğuş-Soma JV made a breakthrough at the southern-end of Worli Station of Mumbai Metro Line 2.
It is the first TBM breakthrough for package UGC-03 of Mumbai Metro’s 33.5 km Line-3.
