CSU pushes for the  Landshuter Allee tunnel (Landshuter-Allee-Untertunnelung) in Munich but Greens and SPD stand against it.

According to Anna Lena Mühlhäuser of SPD, what is rejected is not the Landshuter Allee tunnel construction but the application from the CSU (CSU had submitted an application asking the city of Munich to continue planning for the construction of the Landshuter Allee tunnel and to convene a population meeting on the planning status in order to inform the public).  'The planning department is already working on the extended feasibility study, which we very much welcome. Because the protection of local residents has been our goal for decades' says Mühlhäuser.
