Trending: Immersed Tunnels
Suddenly the trending topic is the immersed tunnels. Everybody loves them. As Danes and Germans bring together their shores with the longest-ever immersed tunnel, Seattle is also joining the fans:
"An immersed tunnel is safer than a bridge to replace the damaged West Seattle Bridge"
Peter, certainly there is an interest for an immerse tunnel replacement for West Seattle Bridge.
More recently a local citizen and civil engineer Bob Ortblad has organized a Discussion Evening to promote the immersed tunnel as a replacement option. It is tomorrow evening. Maybe I will meet you there?
