Civil Engineer Tor Jørgensen proposes a new tunnel at Tistedalsbakken to remove the bottleneck for freight trains. Tistedalsbakken is south of Halden which in turn is to south east of Oslo. Jørgensen foresees that the current situation is not sustainable and it will create problems for European freight trains.
