By decree of August 5, Rostekhnadzor has suspended the construction of the Krasnoselsko-Kalininskaya metro line in St Petersburg for 90 days.

An unscheduled inspection by the supervisory authority for the construction of the sixth metro line reveals Metrostroy had gross violations of industrial safety requirements.

Metrostroy was boring the tunnel faster than furnishing ventilation, drainage equipment.

After 90 days, there will be another inspection to see if the violations eliminated.
