Nepal Department of Roads (DoR) announce construction of Nagdhunga tunnel connecting Sisnekhola in Dhading with Kispidi in Thankot began. This is in the news on The Himalayan Times.
Nagdhunga tunnel under Naubise is a 2.7 km long tunnel. Height is 8 meters and width is 12 meters. Hajma Ando Corporation from Japan is building it. Project will last 42 months.
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) lends $141.41 million to Nepalese government. Project cost is estimated around $188.19 million.
