Minister of Transportation has chosen between the two alternatives (an immersed tunnel and a bridge, both with 8 lanes). It has not been announced yet. An announcement is expected together with a business case in the coming days.

Mayors of Metro Vancouver had already endorsed the tunnel option last year.
