Mr Kawakatsu has consistently said that tunneling for Central Japan Railway Co. (JR Tokai) to open the Linear Chuo Shinkansen Line between Tokyo’s Shinagawa and Nagoya stations in 2027 using maglev levitation technology will harm the flow of the Oigawa river.
