Australian Construction Union penalized for false accusations of corruption in West Gate Tunnel project
CFMEU (The Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union), one of Australia's main unions in its areas must pay $75,600 for falsely calling police and workplace safety inspectors "corrupt", rules the judge.
