Madrid Metro extension of Line 11: the TBM will excavate almost 6 km passing under Atocha and the river
The tunnel boring machine will start its run from the Comillas neighbourhood, located in the Carabanchel district for the extension of line 11 (L11) of the Madrid Metro. It will excavate the 5.6 km to the Plaza de Conde de Casal station reports 20 Minutos. Work requires boring also under the Manzanares River.
