JP Autoceste FBiH (Bosnian state company responsible for the build and operation of roads) announced "the public interest of the FBiH for the construction of several sections of highways and expressways has been established" and that includes "the Prenj - Mostar North tunnel section".

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications, made decisions by which it was determined that the construction of six road routes is of public interest for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is about the construction of the highway on Corridor Vc, the Prenj - Mostar North tunnel section, 12.2 km long, the Adriatic - Ionian highway through Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Počitelj - Stolac section, 23.25 km long, and the Orašje - Tuzla, section Tuzla - Maoča, length 30.7 km.

Public interest has also been established for the construction of the Lašva - Travnik - Jajce expressway, the Turba - Jajce section, 12.5 km long, as well as the Nević polje - Turba section, 12.5 km long, and the Bihać - Cazin expressway. – Velika Kladuša – Republic of Croatia, 47 km long.

It was also established that JP Autoceste FBiH d.o.o. Mostar is the beneficiary of the expropriation of real estate necessary for the construction of these shares, and he was ordered to start the expropriation procedure.

The funds for the implementation of these decisions will be provided by the FBiH Highways, and the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications and the FBiH Highways are responsible for their implementation, each within the framework of their legally established competences.

Today, the government also gave consent to enter into the possession of real estate completely expropriated by the Decision of the Department for Urban Planning, Cadastre and Geodetic Affairs of the Municipality of Doboj Jug, for the purpose of building the highway on Corridor Vc for the section Putnikovo Brdo - Medakovo, after it had previously determined that this project represents the public interest of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
