Additional year of construction -- and traffic disruptions -- for Quebec's Lafontaine tunnel revamp
The renovation of the Lafontaine tunnel would take 4 years and cost $1.2 billion as was announced in 2020. Then came the unpleasant news. It will now take one more additional year and the price tab will increase to $2.1 billion.
