Peoples Daily inform Beijing Municipal Development Reform Commission approveed Nanshan Ring Road Phase III road project proposal. It connect multiple scenic spots for car and bicycle.

Project is in ​​Yanqing District area with mountains. Total length 19.8 kilometer. 2 tunnels. East Hongshan Tunnel is 990 meters long. West Huiling Tunnel is 870 meters. Also 19 bridge.

For environment protection, form of tunnel entrance is adjusted.  "zero waste, less borrowing" concelt 280,000 square meters unearthed earth from tunnel used for roadbed filling and protection.
