Finally Monte Tondo Tunnel plans is out of refrigerator. The mayor of the Bolzano (in Alto Adige regioun of northern Italy) Renzo Caramaschi says they are now looking for a designer. It is a  2,590 meters tunnel. Cost is estimated 110 million euros. 75 million goes for construction and 35 million for finishing and equipping it. A single tube tunnel with 4 escape tunnel.
