Morocco: Tichka Tunnel can cost almost 1 Billion US$
Morocco conducts feasibility study for a 10km long Tichka Tunnel. This is necessitated by the treacherous Tichka passage. Dangereous bottleneck on top of mountain.
Minister of Equipment said the funding will come from Mohammed VI fund. Estimated cost is 10 Billion MAD which is roughly 1 Billion US$.
Feasibility studies already concluded about best route.
