According to news, heavy rainfall flooded the under-construction tunnel. Miore than 100 labourers including engineers were in chest-deep water in the tunnel 300 meters below ground. The Shivpuri tunnel is being built by the Larsen & Toubro construction company.

According to news, all labourers have been rescued with no casualties. Water has been pumped out and the construction company is in the process of cleaning the flood debris in the tunnel.
