This project involves a total investment of 324.04 million yuan. Its primary objective is to address the modern water network needs in Junan County by linking the water resources of Junan River and Jilong River. The tunnel's shield section spans 8,250 meters and faces an average rock hardness of 180 MPa. It encounters significant challenges, including high rock hardness, extensive excavation distance, and complex technical conditions. Addressing these challenges, Tangxing Technology's R&D team customized the "Tianma Island No. 1" and "Tianma Island No. 2" hard rock shield tunnel boring machines. The "Tianma Island No. 2" machine, with a 4.41-meter excavation diameter, 85-meter total length, and 365-ton weight, undertakes a 4,000-meter excavation task within the tunnel shield section. This equipment integrates common technologies of modern hard rock tunnel boring machines and innovatively adopts advanced technologies such as multi-section composite shields, honeycomb segment assembly, and multi-mode filling, enabling efficient excavation and addressing hard rock formation challenges while ensuring safety and high efficiency.
