SK E&C is to be selected as a preferred negotiator for Silvertown Tunnel Project.

The company was selected as the preferred bidder for the Silvertown Tunnel project, which was ordered by Transport for London (TfL) in June. SK E&C has formed an investment consortium RiverLinx with four companies: Macquarie Capital (Australia), Sintra (Spain), Aberdeen Standard Investments (UK) and Bam (BAM PPP PGGM (Netherlands)). SK E & C has a 10% stake in Riverings.

This project is to construct two one-way two-lane road tunnels with a total length of 1.4km and a 12.4m diameter through the lower Thames to connect the Silvertown and Greenwich areas of London, England. Is about 1 billion pounds.

SK E&C is in charge of EPC (design, procurement and construction) by constructing a construction consortium with Ferrovial Agroman (Spain) and Bam Nuttall (UK). SK E&C holds a 20% stake.
