Although #Nepal government had allocated Rs 590 million for a preliminary study of #tunnels in the different parts of the country, no progress has been made so far.

For the fiscal year 2019-20, the government allocated the budget for a detailed feasibility study of tunnel ways at Siddhababa of Siddhartha Highway, Tokha-Chahare-Gaje Bhanjyang, Khurkot-Chiyabari, BP Nagar-Khutiya-Dipayal, Thankot-Chitlang, and Lama Bagar.
