On Tuesday 10 March, Transport for London (TfL) disclosed the contract it made with the Riverlinx Consortium in November.
The big surprise is, now the projects costs are not £1Billion, but £1.2Billion. It is a major 20% increase of £200million. The increase has created an outrage in some circles. Even without this nasty surprise, Silvertown tunnel construction is seen as a controversial projects, especially by its possible environmental consequences.
