Subsea tunnel is proposed to join Fujairah (United Arab Emirates) and Mumbai of India. It is a futuristic project.
It proposes a suspended tube lowered to the sub-sea all the way from UAE to India.

This is, simply put, utter nonsense.
I have no doublt such tunnels will be built maybe in 100 years or so. But it does not make it a vision. A vision must have some doability within a reasonable time period.
A subtle difference between utter nonsense and vision can be best displayed with the following examples:
Have a wild guess which one is utter nonsense and which is vision.

Building a tunnel including a submersed part under the sea in and around United Arab Emirates is an extremely risky business and probably it will remain so in the coming 50 years or so:
