Despite the recent US Supreme Court win, two energy companies who would build the controversial 'Atlantic Coast Pipleline" with a $8 billion gas pipeline tunnel below the Appalachian Trail have abandoned the project.
They cite "high costs and regulatory uncertainty behind their decision to discontinue the project."
