Łódź Cross City tunnelling is becoming fast a laughing matter in Poland. Delays delays and delays.

Tunnel boring machines came late because of coronavirus. But they came. Tunnelling was to start in December 2020. And postponed. The smaller Herrenknecht TBM was to start to bore in January 2021. Why no such problem in Świna tunnel? There Gulermak happily boring away? Did COVID-19 ony effect Łódź? Why can Gulermak find experts and Łódź contractor not?

Completion of the Łódź tunnel had already been delayed from December 2021 to "sometime in 2022".  PKP PLK says "according to the schedule, the contractor should complete the works by the end of 2022". Confirmation of at least one year of delay. If we are not looking already into 2023...
