After boring 1086 metres, the tunnel boring machine of Bengaluru Metropolitan Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) breaks through at M.G. Road station.  Breakthrough was on 6/1/2022. The TBM had started boring on September 5, 2020 from Shivajinagar station.
