The transferring the construction site to the contractors (PORR, Gülermak and Energopol Szczecin) for the tunnel connecting the islands of Usedom and Wolin has been completed according to swinoujskie.info.
Contract for the construction work to link the Uznam and Wolin islands in Świnoujście via Świna Tunnel was signed on September 17, 2018 with the consortium of PORR, Gülermak and Energopol-Szczecin. The value of the order is PLN 793 million gross and the estimated time for completion of the project is 48 months.
The investment is implemented in the 'design and build' formula. Thereafter the contractors purchased a TBM machine from China's CREG.

About Świna Subsea Tunnel
The consortium (PORR, Gülermak and Energopol Szczecin) building the #Świnoujście #tunnel commissioned TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) to China Railway Engineering Group Co. Ltd (CREG) in the "design and build" formula.
It is already under construction in CREG factory in China. First it will be assembled at the producer's factory, and then dismantled and transported to Świnoujście.

Świnoujście tunnel construction moves into a new stage in February as reported by conadrogach.pl.
The construction site is being ready. Trees have been cleared. Also the unexploded bombs have been moved somewhere else (after WWII the area was used to bury the bombs brought here from other places albeit without fuses). Also in February, the TBM excavation chamber will be prepared and the concrete plant will be readied.
The ordered TBM (a CREG TBM from China) is expected in May this year and after the assembly the boring will start. Expected completion date for the one pipe two lane 1.48 km long road tunnel is 2022. It is a subsea tunnel Świna to connect the islands of Usedom and Wolin.

Work is not stopped. Preparatory work continues. However, changes in organization introduced: office and technical staff are in contact only via electronic devices. Chief Sanitary Inspector and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) special procedures also introduced.
Currently the contractors work on the start chamber for the TBM on the island of Usedom and also on the segment factory.
Inzynieria writes three methods will be used in construction of the tunnel connecting the islands of Usedom and Wolin. The 475 m long part was designed in retaining walls, an opencast technique will be used for 295 m, and the main part, 1480 m long, will be boredby TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine). Boring under the Świna Strait is to start in March 2021 and last for 5 months.

Segment prefabrication plant hall and spoil separation plant (for drilling the TBM machine) constructions continue.
On Usedom island, work continue on the reconstruction of the utilities network, installation of reinforcement baskets and construction of diaphragm walls for the TBM start chamber.
On Wolin island side, the site is cleaned up by cutting down trees and shrubs and removal of medium voltage power collisions. This will be the destination shaft area.

Pomimo panującej pandemii koronawirusa inwestycja ani na chwilę nie została wstrzymana. Prace budowlane trwają a wszystkie spotkania kadry biurowo-technicznej odbywają się w formie video konferencji.

No mistake. Gülermak is real good, süper engineering company. Very reliable. But I do not know why terratec always why not E-BERK?
It is not Terratec. It is CREG.
