China Railway Engineering Group Co. Ltd (CREG) is done with the design phase of the TBM for the Świnoujska Tunnel and started building it according to the specifications of Polish tunnel designers.

The Świnoujska Tunnel TBM has a boring diameter of 13.46 meters and a shield diameter of 12 meters. It is ordered by the PORR S.A. consortium which is building the Świnoujście tunnel between the islands of Wolin and Usedom in Poland. The length of the machine is 101 meters and it weighs 240 tons.

The general contractor for this tunnel is the consortium of PORR, Gülermak and Energopol Szczecin. The contract, worth PLN 793 million, was signed in September 2018.
