China-Laos railway tunnels completed. 169 Tunnels. Total 590 kilometer
The China-Laos Railway more than 1,000 kilometers long, from Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province in north to Vientiane, the capital of Laos. 169 tunnels more than 590 kilometers, accounting for 63% of total length of line.

Last tunnel of China-Laos railway drilled. The 9,509-meter-long Jingzhai tunnel of the China-Laos railway was successfully drilled through on June 5.
