Da Nhim Water tunnel project in Việt Nam completed ahead of schedule
Inspection approve 4,908.57 metre water tunnel. It is in use on July 21. Diameter 3,9 metre.
Acceptance Council has Da Nhim-Ham Thuan-Da Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company as the Investor; The supervision consultant is Joint Venture Nippon Koei-PECC3-Nippon Koei Vietnam; Design consultant is Electrical Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company 2; The construction package contractor is Construction Joint Stock Company 47 and hydraulic mechanical package contractor is the NARIME - COMA Joint Venture.
Tunnel construction is partial TBM boring and partial blast method. On March 23, 2019 at 3,739.51 metre boring tunnel slippage happen when TBM go through a weak geologic area. Decision was to tunnel rest of tunnel 929.05 metre with blast method and not TBM method.
