Tokyo Electric Power Company (Tepco) plans to build a 1km long undersea tunnelto discharge the "treated water" currently stored at the damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.
Although mentioned as "treated water", obviously it is not treated well enough:
"The tunnel will release the tritiated water into an area of the ocean away from the plant but where no fishing rights are in place".

Very irresponsible way Japan behaves.
In Indonesian press reported China and South Korea not happy. China urged Japan to revoke its decision. Also South Korean officials criticized Japan's unilateral move to proceed without consulting neighbour countries.
