Claudia Sheinbaum, the head of the government of Mexico City defends the then-director, Florencia Serranía. She says the fire in the metro control place about a year ago at the Buen Tono was not because of poor maintenance. 

She claims before the incident there was already aninvestment in the facilities to carry out a maintenance. She says they are investing 4,500 million pesos and that process had already started before the fire at the Buen Tono Station.
