Construction of MRT Jakarta Phase 2A of CP 201 go fast with high quality Japanese Tunnel Boring Machines. With all aspects, as of August 25, 42.69% progress done.
Phase 2A of MRT Jakarta will connect the HI Roundabout Station to Kota for about 5.8 kilometers and has 7 underground stations: Thamrin, Monas, Harmoni, Sawah Besar, Mangga Besar, Glodok, and Kota.
Phase 2A is divided into two segments: Segment 1 of the HI-Harmony Roundabout to be completed for March 2025, and Segment 2 of Harmoni-City to be completed in August 2027.
Phase 2A of the Jakarta MRT to cost Rp. 22.5 trillion through a cooperation loan between the Governments of Indonesia and Japan.
Construction of Monas Station is now platform level casting work, station column casting/wall structures, completion of column drilling at substations, completion of tunnel boring from Monas to Thamrin, and preparation of northbound drilling for TBM-2 from Thamrin Station to Monas Station.
At Thamrin Station, work continues for retaining wall and station wall (D-Wall), TBM-1 breakthrough preparation work and preparation for -turn on station shaft,.
Phase 2B of MRT Jakarta, which is planned to continue from Kota to Ancol Barat Depo, is still ongoing. in the feasibility study stage.
