Japan: JR Tokai to halt maglev tunnel excavation in dried-up area
Central Japan Railway Co. (JR Tokai) said May 20 it will immediately suspend all tunnel excavation work for the magnetic-levitation (maglev) Chuo Shinkansen Line in an area where wells and reservoirs are drying up.
